A shadow of a mountain Rather interesting atmospheric phenomenon, recorded by M. Ranier from Washington state in 1978. In the photo you can see a shadow of the mountain top. The picture was made from the height of 14,400 feet right after the sunset. One more fact seems interesting here, the “crooked” mountain casts almost ideal pyramidal shadow, and this is connected with an illusion of perspective. |
