A divine bar This subject consists of many separate elements, and you wont be able to say for sure whether they are joined with each other or not. In this case, as well as in case of ”A space fork” you face a phenomenon that we cannot perceive this figure as the whole. Although a lot of impossible figures consist of simplest elements, they are anyway capable to throw us into confusion. There is nothing special in the bar itself, and it is difficult to do something impossible to it. One can just arrange the ends of the bars in impossible way. It is also possible to complete an indivisible picture by adding several groups of elements. When separate bars are joined into “a group”, as it is shown here, the figure as a whole obtains one more dimension. One can say that somebody cut off these bars from famous Impossible Triangle to make an experiment. At first you will automatically perceive the Divine Bar as a common object. Then, when you come to understanding that this figure is not three-dimensional, you get confused and do not understand, whats the matter. From above and from below the figure looks as normal, but when you stare at the opposite ends of as if entire three-dimensional bar, they just evaporate in the air! |
